I Have Celiac Disease

I was finally diagnosed about a year and a half ago. So many years of suffering. Since I have been on the prescribed diet, life has been so much better. No more migraines, no more passing out in pain. No more violently ill spells.

My issue now is that many around me don't understand how important my diet is to my health. They think I can cheat a little. I can't. Not even a little. I am teased and ridiculed by family and friends. I have been accused of be a hypochondriac and a fanatic.

You are welcome. :)
The going without corn and dairy would certainly make it tougher; especially corn. We always liked Mexican food, and the ex could eat corn tortillas.
Avoiding processed foods should help with a healthier diet, but I can understand the need for vitamins and supplements.
