I am beyond frustrated at this point
Took my car in for repairs after it was in an accident over a month ago. The damage was done primarily to the tailgate, left taillight,rear bumper and the quarter panel. The car was handed over to the mechanics on March 29th and he told me I would get it back on April 7th.
I worked with his timelines and on the agreed pickup day (which was Wednesday) ,I called him to ask about picking it up and he told me he was not quite finished yet and it would be ready for Thursday which was yesterday. Thursday came and I called again and he told me that it rained pretty hard (which it did) and it prevented the team from spray painting it so he had to delay to today.
I called him first thing this morning and he confirmed for 5pm and then at 3pm, he called saying the guy was not through with the spray painting and he didnt want to rush the job to risk it not being done properly. At this point I'm freaking LIVID and I start telling him that this is complete BS and they've really inconvenienced me. He starts telling me that he understands but the car repairs took longer than expected due to "structural damage" to the car's chassis that was not known at the time the estimate for damage and repairs was done.
Listen, I'm not saying that I think he's lying but where I come from, mechanics can be EXTREMELY deceptive and huge rip offs. I just think that being a woman, he's just telling me whatever he wants because quite frankly, I don't understand all that crap.
So because of the weekend curfews in effect here, I have to wait until Monday to hear another BS excuse.
