The school slipper!

I remember vividly tearfully coming out of the office with a burning bottom having received the due penalty for my crimes from a heartless mistress whose one objective appeared to be to make my bum the temperature of a volcano! Ow!
Did I deserve it? Not at the time, I thought! But looking back and assessing the nuisance I was - yes! Every time!

Yes I was slippered by a female teacher we had maths with her, I have know her to slipper four boys in 1 lesson and me been 1 of them!!

@abuck It wasn't all that unusal for several of us, boys and girls, to be slippered in a single lesson. when I was at school.

@Sharon I don’t remember many of girls getting the slipper most the girls where quite well behave, and I only remember 2 girls been caned by the headmistress in all the time I was at high school!!

@abuck We were just as badly behaved as the boys so were were slippered or caned just as often. Perhaps that's evidence that CP is counter-productive.
