I Hate Hypocrisy

The hardest criticism towards the way Spanish police acted two days ago during the voting at the Catalonian referendum are coming from British politicians and media.

In 1972's Bloody Sunday, British soldiers killed 14 unarmed people in Northern Ireland. Colonel Derek Wilford commanded the operation. He was awarded the Order of the British Empire.

Hypocrisy much?

@dunpender This time Catalan police sided with independentists.
I know the lack of awareness of media. It happens when facts do not suit their narrative

I condemn both but I think you have a point.

A lot of the British media downplayed and distorted bloody Sunday.

@Burnley123 Condemning both is a honest stand.

@dunpender Also 400 policemen were injured.
I would like to know what both Spanish and Catalan government consider 'injured'. Both figures look inflated
