I Hate Hate Hate Needles

I’m getting the flu shot tomorrow and I have a horrible fear of needles. It has gotten to the point where even at my own school blood drive I can’t walk around because the constant seeing of the wrapped arms of people who donated makes me feel shaky and light headed. I’d rather die of the flu than get another flu shot.

Have you heard of a shot blocker? Ask for one and they may have it.

@IrishPat no I haven’t can you explain it a bit more?

@Cow1919 it’s a piece of plastic or rubber that is placed wherever the shot is being given. It has a number of raised areas under it that press on the skin so it kind of fools your brain into not feeling the shot
