The Television Does What It Does
The most recent day was Holy Saturday evening. I sat down to watch "The Ten Commandments".
The usual syrupy overvoice came on - in ITALIAN!
this isn't the first time, nor the only programs. Football and baseball games. Reruns of sitcoms or other programs I wasnt to watch and can't follow the action. It used to be occasional. Now it's persistent.
When I lived at home, I never had this problem. Maybe it's because I had to switch to Xfinity (Comcast) from AT&T when I moved. I can't count the number of calls I have made to places I sent for items for one thing or another, where I clearly listed the new address and new phone number and they still had my old AT&T number and pld address. When an Xfinity commercial airs, the picture runs, but no sound.
I'm not going to call a tachnician out here. He won't be able to find anything, and I don't want to be doing something when he shows up. I have other things to do.
