for me it's an emotional thing so getting off = / = Sex because Sex is about more than orgasm for me.

It's social bonding as well and for women for instance the release triggers oxytocin whch encourages her to emotionally bond with the male they just fucked...
and of course for me essentially that's at least half the point.
