I would tell you the following:
I was raised a Jehovah's witness and before the age of Reason Witnessed other witnesses being Slut shamed by the church fathers. Modesty was stressed. there were all kinds of conventions centered on how women were properly supposed to dress to be seen as "Godly"
Although I am an EX JW I wonder sometimes how much that effected me.
You see Steven Pinker wrote a book back in 2002 that I found some criticism of.

you see Nature vs nurture is a false dichotomy as nurture effects the way our genes express themselves.
just as mind body dualism is false nature nurture dualism is false.
That means nurture is winning the debate yet it's rarely publicized for various reasons not the least of which is that those with the Deepest pockets want you to believe that their advantages are purely genetic and they were born that way.
Because after all the implications for public policy if nurture is the stronger force are alarming for the vested interest. It means if we spent more on public education and taxed the rich more for it and did research we could for instance boost the performance of struggling black children who traditionally don't do as well in school.
It carries with it a moral obligation to spend more on improving the environments our children are being raised in- THAT is one of the reasons these facts are obscure.
Especially because Rich White people want you to believe that it was purely genetics that lead to their success while we KNOW for a fact that the founders of say Google were not brought up in the traditional public education system but the montessori way.
What am I getting at about Demisexuality?
In your post you state most of the world's population obviously would fit under the 'demisexual' tumblr term.

But have you considered that the culture implicitly sends the message that Women are less interested in men who would Bang random people? That the Socially approved attitude of our cultures is to keep it in your pants-well except for the men. The men will call you a Pimp even while the girls are disgusted with you. But who cares about male validation? what we truly hunger for is female validation.
