The Church restrooms

Did anyone else attend a Church where parents would take their children to the restroom to spank them for not behaving at Church?

No most parents just took their kids outside to "cool off" before bringing them back inside.

I once took my son outside of a church in the middle of a sermon but, not far enough.

So as I administered punishment, I could hear a few of the parishners express their disbelief and personal feelings out-loud (Aww's and Nooo's).

While still outside I could hear the Pastor immediately change his sermon to 'Sparing the Rod' in my defense as a parent.
