I Hate Rude People

I once had a job where I sent on my break, and I bought something to eat and a drink and promptly sat down in what I thought to be a vacant seat. It turned out to be the regular seat belonging to one of the women I worked with, who came up behind me and told me to "get my arse out of my seat." Nowhere did I see her name printed on it so I stood my ground and stayed put. Suddenly she was tipping the seat up from behind in a blatant attempt to evict me from it. In the end, I got up and moved somewhere else and left her surprisingly red face but smiling in victory. But it's amazing how rudeness is a contagious behaviour among people. Perhaps we get less tolerant of how others treat us as we get older, I try hard not to be rude to anyone but sometimes you just have to stand up for yourself, no one else will do it for you.

When I encounter a rude and angry person, I think to myself how glad I am not to be them. They live a sad and dissatisfied life, even though they might have small victories, on the balance they are miserable most of the time.

Not being a contrarian here, but i find rude people absolutely hilarious.its very funny when someone takes a conversation in a direction most would avoid due to politeness and etiquette 😂

WOW. I would think public seating is up for grabs, first come, first serve.

@lasergraph It was supposed to be, but maybe it was because I was quite young at the time. She might not have done it to someone older.

@Sylverlady People tend to take advantage of those whom they think they can get away with.
If this would have happened to me. I would beat that person's ass

@StrugglingSoul You would have needed an armchair, she had a big one.
@Sylverlady Sometimes you have to be mannerless against such rude people

Good for you for standing up to her , she acted like a child and a bully
That's not fair behavior

@darkknightt I should have complained, but I was only nineteen. But she wouldn't have got away with it now! Too late!
@Sylverlady the problem is in scenes like these you ended up getting a lot of unnecessary attention from neighboring people

You should have put something wet and sticky on in the next day... Something simi clear so she may not notice before she sat down
