I had that happen to me. My ex girlfriend dumped me for a guy she barely knew.

@IAmJess not really. Her new boyfriend dumped her a month later. She asked me if I’d get back with her, and I told no, that I was dating someone else. She said “ I knew you were going to say that “ and walked away.
