I Am Secretly Sentimental

My big brother mentioned a pitbull puppy to me about a week and a half ago (I've had pibbles for 14yrs❤)...The owners of the puppy were debating on taking the puppy with them (they are moving out of state).

My brother says "I'll let you know what happens so you can have it."
I called my vet and set up an appointment to spay her, moved around the furniture in my den to make space for her and I get a text from my brother this morning... They took her.

I cried. Am I becoming a crazy dog lady? 😢😢😢

I feel so sick to my stomach just thinking about not having the puppy. What life it's going to live, if they will give it to a person that won't give a rat's ass about it a few weeks later...it's killing me. 💔

@Breathingeasy I was a volunteer a yr ago at my local shelter but the city hired this leprechaun looking Bastard to run the Shelter and he started downsizing the budget for free medications (provided 1 full yr after adoption) for animals that were adopted from the shelter, and he started euthanizing every animal that came thru the doors younger than 5 months. I complained to the City about it and everyone just kinda turned the cheek.

Haven't been back since.
