I see both the beauty and the hardship of those Chinese phrases, and cannot help thinking that if a civilisation that gave birth to them is the next leader of the world instead of the decadent west, it will be a great thing.

Love your handwriting. I can recognise only a few characters, though 😞

Deep words for small people. I’m glad you showed us too. I always liked the way the characters looked, but it seems so complex to me.

@JustNik i think it's a lot of learning by rote. The characters are graphic and there's no way to learn their sounds from the look of it. I have always found the characters too sharp eg the 口 is a mouth. Who has a square mouth really? 😂

@novembermoon 😂😂😂 good point! I’d have never guessed that one. Maybe the straight lines were easier to form with early writing utensils? Leaves one wondering what the reasons were!
