I Like to Try New Foods

I was purposefully saving trying macarons for the first time ever for a "special occasion". Well yesterday I got to taste them from one of the most renowned macaron boutiques on the planet--Laduree in Paris. I'm glad I did. They were delicieux! I got six--rose, pistachio, chocolate orange, raspberry, lemon, and salted caramel. My favorite was the salted caramel! (which was kind of surprising to me). The rose one was my least favorite and I'm not too sure I'll order that flavor again. But hey--at least I tried it! And they were worth the wait.
