I Have a Question

Any way to kill this excruciating and spreading pain from this tooth infection before I seriously contemplate jumping off a cliff? Mostly tried salt water, pain killers and cold compress in hopes it would numb it a little and can't get into the dentist until the 14th.

Omg! I feel for you. I just went thru the same thing a few weeks ago. I only had to wait 4 days to get into the dentist & I couldn't do it. I went to emergency room at the hospital & got pain killers that got me thru it. Before that I tried everthing & nothing works very good. A cotton ball soaked in whisky worked the best before I got the pain killers

Go to the ER right now, that sort of spreading infection is seriously dangerous. Its probably an abcess, which isn't really amenable to pain relief in my bitter experience :(

Oh, also, get a new dentist - any dentist who cant accommodate emergency appointments in less than 10 days, is spectacularly useless & violating his own oath of ethics

600-800mg. of Motrin 200mg. tablets are available over the counter. That is what my dentist advised me.

@RisingPhoenix: I don't know, I phoned up, explained the situation and the receptionist says thats the earliest appointment they have.

@RisingPhoenix: you have got to be registered to get an appointment at a dentist surgery. I could try to register elsewhere but that would take longer as most of them in this area are full

Less than 10 bucks can get at most pharmacies
