I Have a Question

I've been thinking about going to a women's shelter to escape the abusive atmosphere. All the internet literature I've found is eerily specific to partner abuse, and the abuse I am subjected to on a regular basis is adult/child and sibling abuse. By adult/child I mean I'm an adult being abused by my parent, who I'm the child of. I will be extremely specific about stating that it is NOT my dad who abuses me. My question is will I be accepted into a women's shelter despite my abusers not being my partner?

YES! They have the necessary support you need regardless of who your abuser is. I would leave as soon as possible especially if the abuse is physical.
