The path to Heaven is very narrow. Path to hell is very wide-- serving the self, the ego, flesh pleasing etc. Its better to try and stay on the narrow

[13] Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
[14] Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Matt 7

I've no doubt the path to heaven is indeed very narrow.. some might even say a bit tight and somewhat slippery.. not easy to get through at first but after a little bit it gets easier to move through that beautuful narrow path to heaven.
