Fierce this morning

I was missing my close and dearest friend something FIERCE this morning. Man, sometimes it hits me like a freight train that she's gone FOREVER. She was my go to for sharing the good in my life, our hopes and what we wanted for our waning years. She was the one I bounced things off of when my head got full of crazy ... she always grounded me. It's regrettable that she didn't live long enough for me to convey how badly she needed to connect with her grandkids ... it was a work in progress and she was feeling some sincere emotion about lost time. But she was snatched away. What a miserable year this has been. More loss in 2 months than ever in my entire life. 3 soul loves and 2 canine loves. I seek the peace of the season.
