Asking questions instead of voicing opinions

I've often wondered if it would be possible to never voice your opinion on something you know people will disagree with and never debate something with someone but instead just ask people questions that will make them aware of their hypocrisy and stupidity.

That was a long sentence. Let me rephrase.
Instead of disagreeing with someone, just ask them questions that will make them think differently.

I've used that strategy before. Sometimes it works but if they are too indoctrinated you just end up going in circles.

@Eternity That's when you have to just accept it and or walk away I guess. Maybe at another time you/we will have a better question.

@Eternity sometimes both parties (sides) are correct.

Don’t you feel that in life both extremes must co-exist to be beneficial somehow?

@Mindful definitely. But there are times when an opposing train of thought clearly doesn't make sense.

Ex: flat earthers

@Eternity I don’t even entertain the obvious!!!
