I Hate Men Who Tell Women They Are Ugly

There was this guy in High school who called me ugly in class one day and infront of some other students.. That word for whatever reason hurt me so much that when I got to my next class, I was tearing up and my teacher took me out of the class to ask me what was wrong. And when I got home, it took me hours to stop crying over it. I laugh about it every now and then because of how I reacted. The irony of it was the guy who said it wasn’t good looking himself. I use to believe that saying, “sticks and stones can break my bones, but words can never hurt me”, but sometimes certain words can.
