I Don't Drink

I had a friend. He got very drunk. And he got into a car. When he left the car he was dead. I remember hearing the news, and I remember crying. I promised myself that I'd never drink.

Now to lighten the tone a bit. I don't mind other people getting drunk. I have nothing against alcohol. Just please, be safe if you do choose to drink. For yourself, and for the people that love you.

I'll never understand how anyone can drink and drive. I understand that alcohol can lower your inhibitions, but still....If you plan to drink, then arrange to have DD beforehand, or call a cab. is it really that difficult?. Sheeese!.

@smallguywimp My friend wasn't driving, but got into the car of another drunk person and didn't put on his seat belt. When they crashed, he died and the driver survived.

RoboChloe, Sorry, I wasn't referring specifically to your friend. Just making a general statement about people who drink and drive. I suppose I should have made that more clear.
