Well you see, it's not so much politics itself...
It's people. Some people are so wrapped up in their own mindset or ideology, that they throw a fit when they can't get someone to agree with them.

I come from a family with long career activity in the Police and Military. All great people who would go out of their way to help anyone. So I defend to police, firemen, paramedics, etc who do the same. This does not mean I dismiss other perspectives such as some of the things BLM mentions because their are crooked and corrupt officers out there. But nowhere near what people want you to believe, at least not in my neck of the woods.
I have a friend who thinks I’m the absolute worst person in the world. He calls me racist, a Nazi, etc. simply because I’ll post mentions of acts of bravery, humanity, or memorials of officers on the line. I don’t post anything denouncing anyone. Just showing support.
It’s exhausting how many in our society are so binary thinking you need to think A and if you don’t thing A then you must think B which means you are scum.
However you can think AB.

@latinbutterfly *makes a post about how I am a patriotic citizen who believes in free speech and who accuses every criticism of the US of being an anti-american agenda. Because I'm a patriot and believe in free speech and all hail the US constitution, I'll block any mothercucker who dares to criticize a tiny aspect of the US politics because I only believe in free speech if you agree with me and the rest are blocked. @latinbutterfly I definitely stay away from those posts . They just try to draw you in to argue. I'm here to enjoy my friends and just vent here and there.
