I'm Annoyed By Tailgaters

As a car driver and a motorcyclist a number of things annoy me on the roads but tailgating is high on list. Not an annoyance, an actual danger. These people use 1 to 2 tonne chunks of speeding metal as weapons to try and pressure people to go faster than they are comfortable. Would you tailgate someone in real life while you're walking? No. You would walk like a normal human being. I don't get why when put into a vehicle they decide to drive like absolute tools. When I'm on a bike and someone is tailgating me all it takes is a lapse of judgement on their part and i'll be splattered over the road.
