I Live In Austin, Tx

New to Austin! I'm in the Hyde Park area and loving it so far. It's a lot different than Houston, but very nice and I am glad to be here. Looking to make new friends around here. I absolutely LOVE how dog-friendly Austin is. Wish I had a doggie of my own, but no pets allowed where I'm living, unfortunately. Until I get a place of my own I will have to make do by getting to know folks and their lovely animal companions!

@jaymic64 they are! I'm a big fan of all the furry friends I get to admire now that I've moved here. Hope to have one of my own someday!

@Petitebiminxxx you will then. I can’t imagine not having one. Austin is a big change for you. Won’t you miss the gulf? I’m north of you in OKC.

I don't think I will miss it. I can always visit, and Austin has a lot of nice scenery and bodies of water to explore too!
