I Hate Awkward Situations

So I really don't know how to deal with drama...

An acquaintance of mine posted something on FB. I responded and a relative of hers took me totally out of context. She responded with a very nasty comment and edited it while I was politely responding. So then my response, no matter polite, looks totally out of context and said acquaintance flipped out on me because she assumed I was being rude.

So to end the drama and get the relative to stop screaming about how I shouldn't be on this person's friend list I unfriended both of them. After all, it's just Facebook and I know them both in person and that's what's important, right?

Worst part is she isn't accepting that I unfriended her to keep her friend from causing more conflict for both of us and she goes to my church so tomorrow is going to be soooooooooo awkward....

Since when did I get thrown back in to grade school here?

Facebook is poison when stuff like that happens.
Folk will find fault and position themselves as being so offended by somebody else's point of view.
Best just to stay out of it.
No matter what you do some folk just live to be seen as the victim.
@Picklebobble2 Amen to that. That's why I'm nor responding anymore. It's so stupid.

Best thing you can do is ignore them both and not let their nonsense affect you in any way.
@Miram Going to try to. They're both California stereotypes and love being loud and have victim complexes. Luckily our pastors' wife saw the whole conversation and messaged me that Pastor won't let outside drama in to church so I don't have to worry about confrontation.
[c=#BF0080] Hun, It's FB. Full of Drama. You'll find no matter what you do, you can't do right for doing wrong. Could you do what I did? stop using it? or use it sporaradicly? Another tip is to just stop getting involved in threads and comments <3[/c]
@CrystalSparkles Oh, I use it for crafting groups. This was just a conversation on a friends page. I just took he off my list and that was enough so far.
I hate Facebook. Tell them both to grow up or your friendship is over.

The first step to causing drama is making sure you tell everyone you hate drama.
