I Havent Been the Same Since My Father Died

It’s been almost 2 months since my father died, and yesterday, my cousin died; she was only in her 30s.

It got me pondering about life, as expected of someone grieving, and i’m stuck in a loop of thoughts. The fraction of life that used to make sense to me, stopped making sense to me. I don’t get why we live? What’s the point? Is this all random? Is there heaven or hell? Why do we presist to exist when our final destiny is to cease to exist? What’s the point?

It took me 10 years to stop feeling like my father died yesterday . It’s a long haul and it takes some acceptance and realization on your part if you hope to get past that horrible event . But it’s only been 2 months . Give yourself time to grieve . Get it out , cry , throw things ... whatever it takes . People die unfortunately . And you lost the most important man in your life . But you were lucky to have had him and he would never have wanted to cause you to be in such pain . Love who he was...tell your kids about him . Collect his pictures and make an album ... you’ll be glad you did later .
@TexChik Me too !

It's a universal law. Time will eventually reclaim everything. And here we're stuck on an island inside a spec of dust in a colossal, incomprehensible universe. Life sure is strange. I'm sorry to hear about your loss. My condolences go out to you and your family.
I am very sorry to hear of the loss of your father and your cousin. Whenever we experience the loss of a loved one we tend to question our own mortality. It's Ok to have the thoughts that you are having.

It's good to question things...best of luck.
