People Want Medicare 4 All

Late last night, Senate Budget Committee Democrats announced their plans to expand Medicare to include dental, vision, and hearing benefits in the next budget reconciliation package. This is a significant step forward – and it wouldn’t have been possible without relentless organizing.

But we’re not across the finish line yet. We must fight to ensure that the final reconciliation bill includes full coverage of dental, vision, and hearing benefits, and, we must keep demanding that Congress include provisions to allow Medicare to negotiate drug prices, lower the eligibility age to 60, and include an out-of-pocket cap. We have an opportunity to expand and improve health care for millions of people now if we take action.

SWeeps, you have a vital role to play. We need you to urge them to support Medicare expansion at this pivotal moment.

If you have BCBS Advantage plan...dental...vision and hearing is part of that insurance
@PTCdresser57 Medicare "Advantge" is PRIVATE and a sneaky creepy long term EFFORT to slowly PRIVATISE Medicare

This the the opposite of what MOST people SAY they really need and WORSE than what we have now.

try harder please. read the facts. MEDICARE FOR ALL

My inlaws had other BCBS plans in the last 20+ yrs and this has been the best plan for them SoapOperaglasses. So I have had extensive experience plus my wife is a billing coding manager and she knows alot about insurance plans and how they work.
@PTCdresser57 well I have Medicaid too so I am not even eligibe for any Medicare Advantage plan

But just today in the mail came a voucher that makes me eligible for greatly reduced dental services, too bad I already lost over $250 on a no-cavities-chekup, that hurts. I wasn't planning to ever use that dentist again. I have spent many thousands on dental work in the last 12 years or so. People get lots of hard bills for eye work in spite of medicaid and medicare, I am now slated to pay around $500 I never expected.

So Medicare for All (goverment sponsored, taxpayer funded) would be a great umbrella and would save billions in a decade

I agree with Medicaid for All SoapOperaglasses. No person in this great country should not have free healthcare.
@PTCdresser57 The currrent proposal in Congress is MEDICARE for all

we wouldn't need mediCAID at all if we had the real thing, ie national health

SoapOperaglasses..all they would have to due is make a flat tax of 10% for everyone with no write offs and our programs would be funded and our deficit would go away.
@PTCdresser57 flat tax is very unfair and regressive though

think about it

what if your income was 600 bucks a month??
PTCdresser57 · 61-69, M
SoapOperaglasses 600 a month you pay 60
Currently 600 a month you pay 72
@PTCdresser57 i don't klnow what u mean

I don't know that much about progressive taxation but for people on low incomes the taxation rate for anything should be miniscule

can't argue as I said, don't know enough but your figure looks wrong. thats it from me

and flat taxation is a right wing thing cause they love to SCREW THE POOR
PTCdresser57 · 61-69, M
So you are ok with 66+ companies in the US not paying any tax and some even getting refunds in the millions?
So 60 dollars in a month isn't miniscual? Everyone should pay something!!!
