I Am An Aspie

I have Asperger's Syndrome, and I have since I was very young, living in the kibbutz in my native Galilee. My parents wanted for us to control things for me more after my brother was born and so we moved to the Tel Aviv conurbation, metropolitan area, to the city of Giva'tayim, and that is home now for me. I do go back to Galilee fairly regularly to see my grandparents.

I always had a strong mathematical leaning but my parents inspired me to follow a different branch of mathematics and to become a musician, and I play clarinet at concert grade, piano almost as good, and guitar increasingly as close, including electric lead guitar.

I first went to Kalay high school but more and more my aptitudes meant a transfer to the Israel Music Conservatoire, in Tel Aviv, and subsequently I am now at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, and I'm currently in London as an exchange student at the Royal College of Music in Kensington.

I have habitual securities which help me to function in mixed company, much like the Spanish-Catalan tennis player Rafael Nadal. I am achieving great things through these processes, and I've played soloist at two concerts at home in Israel.

It is managed by me, for me through these exercises I have, developed for me and involving CBT processes.
