Should a Latino be force to lose their native language if they want to move to the USA? Like should a Latino forget their native language

@lovelldo: but say you been speaking Spanish for over 18 years as your first language it's kinda hard to forget your native language.
Spanish is one of the most common spoken languages in the world.

Well it's very common in South America. But my point is you have speak it every day to get better at speaking Spanish
I just mean that the more common a language, the less likely it is to be forgotten.

I've never been there.
