I Love Track And Field

Last night was the awards banquet for track. I got a varsity letter. Man what a season it was. I wish I had more than this one season (I’m a senior) to remember. I will always remember it. I had great coaches and awesome teammates. My PRs are below. I did a total of 7 events throughout the year.

800 meters (2 meets): 3:03
1600 meters (5 meets): 6:30
3200 meters (4 meets): 14:27
4x400 relay (1 meet): We timed 4:38
Shot Put (5 meets): 24 ft, 5.75 inches
Discus (4 meets): 68 ft, 4 inches
Long Jump (2 meets): 10 ft, 11 inches

how come you only did track in senior year?? how did you like your teammates and coaches? lot of fun being out for track??? how did you like throwing the discus?? 😺

Uh excuse me. Stand up for my right? I wasn’t an adult. My parents were the parents. I was the dumb kid. Until I turned 18, I was required to do what they said. I still have to (mostly). I know if I had done a better job at keeping my grades up I could’ve played. Thanks for trying to support me right there though.@trackboy

@Djac17 they robbed you of life time memories being on sports teams and of making freinds and being popular. you will forget most of what you studied in class but will remember the times you had in sports. few get A as most teachers have A separator questions that only one or two in the class are able to answer on their tests. 😺
