I Don't Get It

There are eight gas pumps in the parking lot and I'm occupying one of them, the other seven pumps are free and clear. Why does a driver pull up behind me to wait for MY pump...they're all the same.
There's half a dozen self checkouts I'm using one and the other five are free and clear. Why does a shopper (with only one item for fast checkout bragging rights I suppose) decide to impatiently wait behind me when I have a bunch of stuff on the belt, no I'm not in the express line either.

Yeah, the other day, I was putting groceries in the back of my car, when a guy pulls right up behind me, waiting for my parking space, when the space right next to me, as well as spaces next to them, is wide open. Huh? After I pulled out, he parked, and ended up walking to the other entrance where there were other open spots! I don't get it 馃

You were in his spot. I did that sometime too when I do it It's. Because I see a spot without posts or trees.. Means no bird poop party on your car.

@kayoshin: Well, I can understand your logic, but my situation was not the case..it was just so bizarre..and it wasn't even the first spot in that aisle! It was like 3 spots down, with other spots around it..Jim Morrison was right, people ARE strange
