I Don't Get It

Some people post questions here stating no one will be their friend, and how they are married and are just looking for a friend because they can't make any friends, and then I explain that I don't really have any either and suggest ok well let's be pals then, and then they move on. Am I insane or are these people really on here claiming to want a friend, but in reality they are looking for something else? SMH.

I think most of the people who make those posts have a very specific type of "friendship" in mind. Perhaps they look at your profile and feel you won't be compatible with them, but most people here rarely put in that much effort.

It puzzles me as much as I see this kind of posts comes and goes. Even they got the courage to post their thoughts, they’re not really ready to give effort for new friendship or the enthusiasm of learning about each other. Or. . . Could be they want a more aggressive approach, because they’re bored being themselves.
