I Want to Be a Mom Someday

I can't wait to grow up, get married and have kids... Probably 2 or more... I want to be a great mum who understands my kids and share their viewpoints (or at least try to). I want to be as supportive as I possibly can and help them make their dreams into reality to the best of my ability. I want to be the role model in their life, their superwoman who protects them and whom they can seek comfort in. I want to do things and provide them with things I did not get/could not afford to when I was a child; I want to ensure my kids don't go through my sufferings that I did... I don't want to repeat my parent's mistakes, and hopefully I will learn from them and find alternative solutions. I want my kids to know that results do not define who you are, their dreams and future goals should not be influenced by societal standards and stereotypes, and they should be proud and confident of who they are. I want to raise my kids to be a polite, helpful, caring and considerate young independent. :)

It sounds as if you would make a great mom with these aspirations for your future. Please don't forget that the man you will share your life with will be your partner and he must agree with your plan for the partnership to work. I hope you can stick to these dreams of being a model mother.
You still have some time to work on it so please don't be in too much of a hurry. I was married for several years and always wanted kids and had a good idea of the kind of dad I wanted to be. It sounded exactly what you wanted out of parenthood.
But it wasn't to be. We never found out if it was me, her or both of us who were incapable of having kids. So, we just took care of other people's kids and had a great influence on many of them.
She divorced me in 2011 and I have been very lonesome ever since. I do have supportive friends and am glad for that.
Until the day you become a great mommy, just do your "homework" on the family and learn not so much from books, but by talking to friends and family about marriage and the family and closely observe both negative and positive things that you want to copy or avoid in your own family.
Good luck to you, dear and remember, take your time and make decisions oh so carefully and you won't go wrong. If you do make a wrong decision, then just take the consequences for it and, more importantly, LEARN from them and take mental note to not repeat them. You will be better for it!

There's an editing function (though I kinda guessed what you were saying)
Hmm... still needa know what age she's in

If she's 13-14 then there's alot of changes going on in her life. She probably wouldn't want you to butt in her stuff anymore. Actually, that goes for 13 and above. Although when she's like 15,16, 17 and stuff, she might open up to you depending on how well you treat her, and how comfortable she feels telling you. Basically you can just give her some advise that DOES NOT OFFEND HER (This... can get you hit XD) and just reassuring things. She's probably insecure now that puberty hits (like all other kids) and just want some reassurance and guidance. Share your experiences with her and how you dealt with it, how she should do it, and do consider the possibility of different genders handling issues differently

Well, thats what I think... hope it'll help somehow :P

High five middle child syndromes HAHA
Yea I too remembered my sis and bro teaming up and ditching me... Oh wells, I talked to my chair :> Yep, a chair XD
Now it's more of me getting along with the both of them... We're all growing up and maturing so theres actually lesser conflicts
Although at times my sis can have terrible mood swings but I let it go (even when she hits me, but she seldom does) cause I've been through that stage before

Idk... erm... try talking to her more I guess
I always watch movies with my bro, share with him my music, stuff that happened in the day... But I'm not sure about sisters... when I shared those with my sis she told me I was annoying lol
