I Still Get Corner Time

I got into a bit of troubleee.. soo my friend told me there would be a great party at a big house without adult supervisionn.. sooo I asked dad if I could go but he said noooo and I said why not? Then he said because you are not supposed to go there.. then I said thats sooo unfair!! Then he said quit whining right now!! Then I said Im not whining I just want to go and its stupid that you dont let me.. then dad said well instead of going to that party you can tell your friend you will be in the corner tonight.. I was like nooooo!! So right after dinner I had to stand in the corner until bedtime.. definitely NOT a party!

The kids around here hated corner time more than anything. They asked for a spanking instead and got it. At least they were able to watch tv or do something else entertaining.

@updown2020 Remarkably, yes. They were all very active and wanted to spend time outdoors or with their friends. Corner time seriously interfered with that. They knew a spanking would not kill them, and it was over and done with. They were then free to go. Truth is we adults wanted them out of our hair so we could do what we wanted. LoL

@MikeSp Well I hope the spanking you did give was extra hard. Because a child should not be able to choose there punishment after all that's why it's punishment so if someone does give the child a spanking well it should be a spanking that they will remember for the next few hours every time they sat down.

@updown2020 We agree on that. Spankings were always our first choice because we were always too busy to monitor them, but we occasionally gave them a choice of cornertime just to see what they would do. Part of our entertainment. LoL
