I Think Love Has No Age

For nearly two years now, I have been in love with a man more than twenty years my senior. We decided, largely because of the age gap, that a relationship was untenable.
How much of the struggle was because of how society views age-gap relationships, I shall never know.
But I know this. Love knows no barrier. Not race, not gender, not age. I wish society understood this better.
Still, I am incredibly lucky to have experienced such deep, true love. I think very few people get to experience it at all, let alone keep it.

Sorry just come across this theme ...can I say age is just a number ...I met my ex at 21 she was 33 ...we lived together for 23 years ...married for 17 years ....
I didn't care what anyone thought neither did she ...my parents didn't understand or really liked the idea ...but it didn't bother me ...

Some of my friends thought it was weird and lost contact .again didn't care I was in love ...

Life is too short ...if you find your soulmate ...and there's an age gap ....who cares ...if he or she makes you happy ...go for it ...

Yeah there will be some strange looks and comments "..but they will never have what you have a true respectful fun loving relationship

So stick two fingers up at the haters ...and go for it ...

Take care
