Isn't it awful how a person goes down hill so fast when they're diagnosed with cancer? [I Hate Cancer]

A very good friend of mine was a man mountain ,he was on holiday and took bad and they had to pay to come home early. It was colon cancer , two month later I was a pall bearer at his funeral. I hope your father in law pulls through , if he cant I hope he goes quick as I watched my dad endure hell in his last weeks of life

I don't really know what's worse. My uncle died in January, a year earlier he had 1/3 of his left lung removed after chemo and radiotherapy failed to make significant progress. Three months later tumours were found in his head and by September he was unrecognizable as it affected his personality to the point where he had to take anti-psychotics. Those last months were horrible for everyone as we watched him die a slow and painful death.

I hope you manage to deal with it the best way possible and offer some comfort to your partner who is about to lose his father. Take care

Last year one of my staff wasn’t feeling well and went to doctor. Stage 4 pancreatic cancer. He passed a week later. In a week he went from looking ok to....

I hope your father in laws can find a way out.

The human body is resilient. We can take a whole lot of damage before it becomes obvious. My friend's coworker recently went to the hospital for stroke symptoms, and they found out one of her arteries has been close to completely blocked for so long that the veins surrounding it have expanded to compensate for the blood flow.

Cancer is a fast killer. A year and a half ago my sister was diagnosed with advanced pancreatic cancer on September 1. She was gone by November 16.

It can be, especially if not diagnosed early. A friend of ours died recently, only a few weeks after being diagnosed with bowel cancer.

Hugs. I can’t imagine hearing those words. Remind him how tough he is and keep a positive attitude.

My friend's father just was diagnosed with cancer that has metastasized all over. He's still in good spirits but is terminal. ;(
