I Love Playing Chess

I’ve been playing since the age of eleven. My dad taught me, and I immediately loved it.

I hadn’t played it in such a long time, since I’m always incredibly busy with work. Today, was one of the rare occasions that I was off work.

I spent the entire day with my fiancée, doing absolutely nothing, just sitting around and playing chess.
It was a great break off work.

I learned to play chess at 10 or 12 can’t remember. I won the first game I played. My brother in-law said beginners luck. 😂

It’s pretty different. Each piece moves differently, unlike checkers, in which all pieces have the same movement.

@KatherineR like the king,queen,bishops they move in different places on the board so you have to strategize to protect each piece is that what you mean
