@GentleLucille I only ever 'forgot' my plimsolls, definitely more fun without them lol. Did sometimes do PE without my top or in 'skins'🙂

@GkB01 We weren't allowed plimsolls for PE. Definitely more fun in bare feet!

@GentleLucille Choice @ our school. As you say, more fun in bare feet though some particularly two girls, opted to keep plimsolls on.

@GkB01 I once did gymnastics in my knickers and no top. It was very chilly 😬

@GentleLucille Not too chilly at our school, black feet from the hall floor though, not helped by those who insisted on wearing plimsolls😠

@GkB01 We had to walk down a general corridor to get to the gym. My feet often got grubby which was not nice when you then have to do the lesson in bare feet 😟

@GentleLucille It depended on where our classroom or changing room was in relation to the hall or gym, if it was far away we slipped shoes on our bare feet, otherwise a quick dash in bare feet across a freezing corridor🥶

@GkB01 Brrr!!! 🥶 If we forgot our PE kit, we had to walk down that freezing corridor in our underwear and bare feet. There was no space in the gym to store shoes and clothes 😟

@GentleLucille That would have encouraged me to remember my kit lol, always a shock when my bare feet first touched the gym floor, but soon got used to it😬
