Life is of such value!
Only the dead know how terribly we waste our time in life, how each minute we have we see with so little true value. As we are told in the Holy Bible a man/woman has three score and ten years, that's seventy as an average! It isn't many! Your first twenty are spent being educated and learning who you are! That leaves as an average just fifty years!
It's a scary thought! When you observe older people because you are young, you don't always see them in a positive light because you are intent on finding your way, and so many younger people view older people as a burden, at least a tax burden, when in truth they are an asset! All my teachers have been older than me! I got a lot from them, not least an example of what an education can bring!
No, life is a treasure to each and every one of us whether we are young, or old, healthy or infirm! It is our greatest asset, since we have in life the opportunity to be better than we are, but once we are dead we can change nothing, and we must rely solely on the grace and mercy of God! In life we have the opportunity of being better than we are, to actually strive to help our fellow men women and children throughout the Earth 馃寧
