I am trying to fight the feeling in my mind that has plagued me for so long. I am gaining a better understanding of how the mind operates, but it is going to take time.
I have been going for counseling for a long time and while it's helped, it was never the best. I have recently started going to a group that specializes in brain injuries and how the mind can work. There are certain words, for example, that should never be used and some that are neutral.
