saintsong no now they are busting their butts to get me service connected
but they still tried to talk me into going into a drug program
ME say I have a problem with pain meds ,
Well I am in a civilian pain group now
They have a few choice words for the VA
I have been down graded to low risk and I get my scripts for 3 months at a time
They used all my UA's I have given the VA for 20 yrs against them
I only had one dirty UA and I went to the ER and told them I took a pain pill not prescribed to me and I took a hit off a J when my doctor let me go without anything for pain for 5 days ,,,
They sent that UA to a lab in California to have them confirm it was dirty
me admitting it wasn't enough ,they wanted it in my records
that I had "Self Medicated and used street drugs "
recommendation :No more meds from the VA ,consult for Substance Abuse ordered
I tried to get into the drug program ,I tested negative ,,the weed nor the loratab showed up ,,they turned me away
But the doctor would not quit until I went through a 40 day drug program
So now all that is in my records ,,they can now show justification for all they have put me through
I have a new MRI now to compare to from December ,,in 3 yrs my disease is worse
Its aggressive ,had they helped me when I asked for help ,,there is a chance they could have slowed it down ,,now my only option is pain meds
The pain clinic says they don't recommend any of the surgery the VA has suggested
my spinal cord is flattened in 2 places ,messing with it now could paralyze me
They recommend I just let them keep me as comfortable as possible
I will never know a pain free day the rest of my life ,,,
But I can bear it ,,,I am just glad now they can't call me a liar again
