I Want to Know What Is the Worst Movie

Two suggestions:

An Unmarried Woman starring Jill Clayburgh

The Turning Point starring Shirley MacClaine and Anne Bancroft

They were both examples of some kind of politically correct unreality (and I am rather liberal politically!). Both movies depicted characters and situations far removed from what most of us call life while masquerading as hard hitting revealing drama about post modern women.

I’ve never heard of them or their movies

@Catzgano I'm old. The 2 movies I named were popular way back in the 70s. They were considered intelligent, insightful films at the time and both won Academy Awards...in my opinion, these films were vastly overrated and displayed very little insight into the problems of women.

@Catzgano No, color, it was the 70s, not the 1930s-40s.

@Platoscave Isn't Art Carney in that? He is wonderful in anything!

My favorite movie with an elderly hero stars Art Carney:

The Late Show
