I Am Immobile

Short note on feminism and immobility
I wrote this note some time ago as a kind of reply on some "feminism" crap started to drop on my tumblr feed. But hope it related enough to be placed in this group as well.

For me, true feminism is when women have a single duty - get immobile fat before 18 y/o or earlier, and keep getting even fatter afterwards by eating as much ans possible and drinking dozens of pounds of most fattening milkshakes daily to keep their growing bellies overstuffed all the time, while their fathers and husbands are work to be sure their wifes, daughters and sisters are have enough food to keep getting fatter,

This vision of true feminism contrasts a bit from this crap that is being spread into heads of lots of people like “women MUST be politics, astronauts, sport stars, top managers, etc. like males” without asking women hhat they want. And at same time society still expect that after a log workday this female top manager would home and cook a supper for her husband, check homework of their 2 children (yeah, society claims also that top-manager or parliament member must also get pregnant at least twice, give births and grow up their children at same time among with all other duties men, top managers. and politics usually have as this mad society claims)……

I just think that my vision of true feminism is not only simpler but also much more honest then all this anti-women crap called “feminism” these days.

As much as I find the thought of immobility attractive, in women and in myself, I think your definition of feminism here is deeply problematic. Sure, I think women who want to live that way should have the freedom to choose that, however forcing ALL women to conform to that lifestyle is horribly misogynistic, and very much against actual feminism. I consider myself a feminist, and I would never venture to say that all women should have "A single duty." Let them do what they want.

Well, currently tere is a single with thing named "feminism" - it is a falsy double standard. Society where "feminism" is a kind of tend, actually demand form women at same time:
1) keep be "woman" (wife, mother, daughter, sister, and do all this common related to this roles);
2) compete in politics, economics, workforce area, business. CEO positions like men, who does not have all these additional tasks or figuratively said "duties" society enforces on women.
It is not possible to combine effectively 1 and 2, but if woman choose for 2, society is still expect or even demand 1 from women.
When feminism appeared, it started for opening _opportunity_ for 2 to women. But now society demands BOTH 1 and 2 from women.
My text is a kind of protest against this lie taking place.
The fact that i really think that women should get immobile fat, becomes a tool i use to express this protest.

I'm trying to reply with respect, but this is getting hard. If you believe this I don't think you know anything about feminism except what you hear from sources like Fox News. In fact, I think it's a sense of entitlement of making a woman immobile to own her. You're not trying to make things easy for her, you're just trying to get off.

Well, my impression on feminism was formed by other sources, e. g. posts labeled as "pro-feminism" content in e. g. Tumblr, and stories, how feminism looks lie in practice in poorly developed countries like Russian Federaton

Yeah. I love obesity and immobility as much as the next guy, but as someone who identifies as a feminist and an instructor in Gender & Women's Studies, I agree with Piggo.

I helped my sister eat herself to immobility, she still over stuffing her belly all the time and growing even fatter. Now I'm helping my nearly immobile teenage daughter to grow her belly even more.

How can you have a teenage daughter if your age is between 18-21? Did you have her when you were 7?

I'm not really aged between 18 and 21:)

This is also my view of feminism
