When you don't seek validation from people you're pretty much an alien to them. Most people rely on others to think for them. They constantly need nice stuff to keep them interested in talking. They need to be made to feel like they're important for them to do anything. They couldn't possibly just say what they want and not expect validation. I learned to do it. Imagine that. I'm not even 25 years old and I figured out what most people cant figure out in a lifetime. No one taught me. My parents were shitty to me. My dad wasn't nice to me. Neither was my mom. No one was ever "nice" to me. No one is actually "nice" and if they appear to be nice it's only for their own benefit. People don't know what being nice actually looks like anyway. Being nice is just being genuine and not trying to sweet talk you and feeding you stuff to try and comfort you. It's just being genuine. If you try to be genuine to people they don't want it. They like to play that pretend game and mask their feelings everywhere they go. They have a facial expression and a go to phrase for everything they encounter in life. I know this for a fact. They're like robots. They see and they act accordingly.

@AgapeLove I think people put up "a front" like they'll act a certain way to "protect" themselves from having their feelings hurt. I don't think they're fake I just think they're really insecure.

There are real genuine people out there. Not everyone is a selfish narcissist out for their own benefit. People that need constant validation are insecure. It is their own insecurities that hold them back .

@IBHappy I know all that. I never said this was how everyone acted. I just said this is how most people act.
