You are wrong in supposing that thw brevity of hardship depends based solely on the number of years a person yet lives/has lived - increasing from par.
No person is prepared nor can be prepared for any new thing which transpires in such a one's life. If they were prepared even at all, then there really would be no cause to be prepared, because for one to prepared for something, then such a one has experienced it or has knowledge of that thing. So if that is the case, it is not new.

Social media does not permit the true expression of words, therefore, even the kindest of words could come as offensive to the receiving party, all because of misreading/misinterpretation.
