The heart of man is desperately wicked and deceitful above all things, and this is/was so as a result of the fall of man - disobedience of God's word, leaving us in the curse of sin. Even the mundanely-righteous man is not exempt of this - so let no one be fooled by these so-called saints/holy men, & holy pope, & holy monks, & so forth.
For the sake that our hearts are corrupted, even so, our judgement of right & wrong is widely impaired. Most times than less, we WILLINGLY choose to make the bad decisions rather than good ones, for selfish ambitions. Because of the corruption in our hearts, God instructs that we look through His own lens instead - His definition of wrong and right, which is perfectly right - repenting from our evil ways, because after life is death & then judgement to either eternal life (because these lots looked through God's lens/repented of their sins and gave their life to Christ) OR eternal death (because these lots, whilst on earth, ignored the warnings about hell & rejected the salvation of Christ, swimming in their corrupt ways)
If you have not repented of your sins, giving your life to Christ, ma'am, do so now; tomorrow is not promised. The kingdom of God is at hand....
God bless you.
