I Think Its Ok If Not Everyone Likes Me
It's hard, I think, as we are brought up to be nice and kind and respectful, as human beings,and then that first initial disliking that someone has for you.....
Maybe over your hair, your voice, your height, your weight, your likes and dislikes.....sometimes just over the company you keep....
You wonder what you can do to change? To make that person like you?
Some may go so far as trying to change and then finding, much to their dismay, that their own original group of friends now dislike them!
What a minefield THAT is!
Truth be told, I spent a number of hours of my life crying into my pillow for not being the person that these other people wanted me to be.....
....and the hardest thing was not being the person my mum and dad wanted me to be.....
But....as time goes on, you process things through; emotions and thoughts......
....and, hopefully, you get there....just like I have.
Hey, being liked by everyone would be nice but I am happy to have the people in my life that do like me.....
....and, most important of all, is accepting and living yourself...
