I Loved Him And Let Him Go
Those 4 letters.. L-O-V-E. We hope for with all our might that one day there will be someone special to elevate us. I’ve learned something through the years of trial and tribulation, “Not everyone we meet is the meant to be forever”. I wish it were so. This burning desire in my heart demands one- one soul to connect with, to thrive with, and to grow with- forever. I met a man that presented himself as a puzzle piece that fit my ridges. On the other hand he was a wild bird; a beautiful wild bird. He was a type of bird that comes to you in the morning and sits with you. This type will sing beautiful songs while you learned its world. The features of this bird are so diverse; the very presence is a blessing in disguise. In his presence you conform to his ways. In his absence your brain produces endorphins at the very thought of the memories. You cherish his very being and rare anomaly. With this bird, you fall in love and try to capture it. He was my breath of fresh air.
Cage it.
What a fool.
We all know wild birds are not meant to be caged. My heart breaks every day to know the existence of this wonderful man drifts where the wind travels. To be granted such a paradox is a curse. Can I oppose altruism? I'll keep him for myself, while asking eternity for one more day. I love him. My head bowed, in despair, I wince upon the earth, that has created this beautiful being; releasing my clutch, berstan heart, tears to my eyes....
I let him go.
