People have funny ideas about my country. They think it’s like Iran. But it so isn’t! It’s so lovely. And we live in Africa. But we have snow in winter. A lot where I live! And we have school and college.
@Miram No it's a bit hard to explain. Basically you can pick any country in thr world and play through history, having to deal with all sorts of stuff. Anything from warfare to diplomacy to resources and trade and religion to name a couple. It's a thinking persons game, and incredibly fun if you like that sort of thing. Anyway i was playing as Tlemcen in between early 1500's to about 1800 in a recent playthrough, it was challenging but fun. :)
@Miram Well done. And yes normally, but given that i could affect the game a lot by my decisions Tlemcen was still proudly independent by the end of it, instead having been allied with the Turks for centuries.
Most people don't look too deep. The historical French influence probably helped in that last regard i expect. You learn French in school as well right? :)
@Axelerator Only genius level students were allowed in schools past sixth primary level. That means by the age of twelve, most were not registered at any educational institution. Colonialism held the country back in all aspects of life.
