Through a combination of decades of selective breeding and genetic engineering via a joint effort of Kathleen “The Krack-Head” Kennedy and Plagueis Labs an effective prototype has been developed and fielded.
Summary of Development
Genetic material was extracted from a number of leading force users including Kanan, Ezra, possibly Starkiller, Ventris, Ashoka, Mara Jade (http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=801952 ).
The extracts were then spliced with the gametes of Darth Plagueis who copulated with the host mother. A suitable vessel for the development of the embryo was found in the person of Jyn Erso who having been thought dead in RO would not be expected to serve this function. She was selected due to having a suitable look and DP liked her spunk, resolve, and determination.
Delivery Dramatization. KK with pointed ears twitching and hard eyes glinting, and a sly smile curling across her malevolent face, stepped over the low threshold to the birthing chamber.
